Two fields, that's it. No spam, no sales sequence — we'll message you once when your early access opens.

Iris — messages carried along an iridescent arc An iridescent peacock-feather eye at the centre of a rainbow arc, with message paths tracing outward to connected contact nodes.
What it does

Three jobs, done properly.

Everything runs on the official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) from Meta — no unofficial libraries, no browser automation, nothing that puts your number at risk. If you've been looking for WhatsApp Business API access in India without a monthly platform subscription, that is precisely what Iris is.

Bulk sending

Upload your opted-in contacts, pick a Meta-approved template, and send to the whole list in one pass — with per-recipient personalisation.

  • CSV import of opted-in contacts
  • Template variables per recipient
  • Delivered, read and failed status per row
  • Automatic queueing inside your messaging tier

Scheduled campaigns

Write the campaign once and let it go out at the right moment — a single future send, or a recurring cadence for a segment you've defined.

  • One-off sends at a date and time
  • Recurring weekly, fortnightly or monthly runs
  • Segment by any field on your contact list
  • Pause, edit or cancel before it fires

Custom agent workflows

Decide what happens after someone replies. Route it, answer it, qualify it, log it, or hand it to a human with the full thread attached.

  • Branch on the customer's reply
  • Follow-up templates and reminders
  • Write back to your CRM or sheet
  • Human handoff with full context
How it works

From zero to first send in four steps.

You keep your own WhatsApp Business Account throughout. We help you connect it — we never own it.

01

Connect your number

Link your WhatsApp Business number and your own WhatsApp Business Account, with your payment method attached to Meta.

02

Import opted-in contacts

Bring in your opted-in contacts by CSV, with the fields you want to personalise on. Opt-in is not optional.

03

Build or schedule

Pick a Meta-approved template, send now, set it for later, or wire up a workflow for what happens on reply.

04

Track delivery

Watch sent, delivered, read and failed per contact — plus what each run cost you at Meta's rates.

Pricing

One price, and nothing hidden.

Prepaid credit for the platform. Meta's message fees go straight to Meta, at Meta's rates, on your own account.

One-time credit pack
₹200 for up to 2,000 messages

Outside India: $5 for the same pack.

Not a subscription. Prepaid credit — top up when you run out.

That covers the Iris platform: the sending engine, the campaign scheduler, contact and template management, delivery tracking, and your custom workflows. It is the Iris platform fee only.

Meta bills your messages, not us

Message delivery is billed separately by Meta, directly to you. Iris onboards you under Meta's Tech Provider model: you own your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) and attach your own payment method, so Meta's per-message charges land on your account, not ours. You pay Meta wholesale rates directly — we don't mark up your messages.

What Meta charges depends entirely on your template category, and the spread is large. Here is the arithmetic on a full 2,000-message pack at Meta's approximate India rates:

Meta's charges — approximate India rates, billed by Meta to your account
Template category Meta rate per message 2,000 messages
Marketing ~₹0.86 ~₹1,720
Utility / Authentication ~₹0.115 ~₹230
Service replies Free ₹0

That is roughly a 7.5x swing between marketing and utility templates on the same 2,000 messages — which is why we'd rather you saw the numbers before you paid us anything. Meta's rates are set by Meta and change from time to time; treat these as indicative. 18% GST applies to both Meta's charges and the Iris platform fee for customers in India.

One more thing about brand-new numbers. A freshly registered WhatsApp number starts on a limited messaging tier — typically 250 business-initiated conversations per 24 hours — and scales up as your quality rating holds and your business gets verified. So a 2,000-message pack may take a few days to work through on a brand-new number. Iris queues the remainder automatically rather than failing the send.

Who it's for

Businesses whose customers already reply on WhatsApp.

If your opted-in customer list lives on WhatsApp, these are the sends we built Iris for.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

₹200 in India, or $5 outside India, is a one-time Iris credit pack covering up to 2,000 messages sent through the platform. It is not a subscription — it is prepaid credit, and you top up when you run out. That price is the Iris platform fee only: it covers the sending engine, the campaign scheduler, delivery tracking and your workflows. Message delivery itself is billed separately by Meta, directly to your own WhatsApp Business account. 18% GST applies to the Iris platform fee for Indian customers.

Meta charges per delivered template message at its own published rates, billed directly to your WhatsApp Business account on the payment method you attach. In India those rates are approximately ₹0.86 per delivered marketing template message, approximately ₹0.115 per utility or authentication template, and service replies are free. So 2,000 marketing messages cost roughly ₹1,720 in Meta fees, while 2,000 utility messages cost roughly ₹230 — a swing of about 7.5x depending on which template category you send. 18% GST applies to Meta's charges as well for Indian customers. We do not mark up your messages: you pay Meta's wholesale rates directly.

Yes. Iris onboards you under Meta's Tech Provider model, which means you own your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) and attach your own payment method. Your number, your templates, your quality rating and your billing relationship with Meta. We help you through verification and connection, but the account is yours — if you ever stop using Iris, it stays with you.

Yes, always. You may only message opted-in contacts who have agreed to hear from you on WhatsApp, and every message template must be pre-approved by Meta before it can be sent. Iris is not a tool for unsolicited messaging. Sending to contacts who have not opted in drives complaints, damages your quality rating and can get your number restricted or blocked by Meta.

Iris is in private beta and invites are going out in batches. Join the waitlist with your email and phone number and we will get in touch when an early access slot opens for you. Waitlist members are onboarded personally, so you are not left alone with a dashboard.

Yes. Iris is built entirely on the official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) from Meta. There are no unofficial libraries, no browser automation and nothing logging in as you. That is why your number stays in good standing and why your billing relationship is directly with Meta.

Yes. You can schedule a single send for a future date and time, or set a campaign to repeat on a recurring cadence — a weekly offer to one segment of your opted-in contacts, a monthly statement reminder, a fortnightly restock nudge. Scheduled sends respect your messaging tier and queue automatically instead of failing.

A custom workflow lets a WhatsApp agent do more than send one message. You define what happens after a reply: route the conversation to the right person, send a follow-up template, ask a qualifying question, write the answer back to your CRM or sheet, or hand off to a human with full context. Peacock Labs builds AI agents for a living, so during beta we design these with you rather than handing you a blank canvas.
